This devotion to the game's community has led to a positive cycle where the game improves in ways that the community desires, which leads to an even more engaged community. One example of this focus on the community is how Dead Cells' patch notes are often littered with changes and features that are labeled as community suggestions or based on community feedback. Conjunctivius shoots poison shots from its eye in a sun pattern. Timing is important with this since the boss has a big hitbox. Helps prevent those stunlock combos that destroy you at high levels. Conjunctivius projects a beam of light to the player's location and charges the location. Heres a tip-if you have a shield you will get iframes after being hit, even if youre not using it. So the game keeps selling and that allows us, on our side, to afford a team that is fully focused on this. By the end of the game you almost cant engage any foes head on. They all present new and unique ways to kill you, but the bosses on this list can kill you over and over again even when you think you know their patterns and have beaten them in past runs. Not every boss level made it, which isn't to say that every boss in Dead Cells isn't a challenge. So it's kind of a virtuous circle where we are doing this for the community and the community is here to keep playing the game and they keep telling other people to buy the game. Mausoleum is the first boss level on this list. They're here for us, they want more, they're pushing us towards doing and creating more, whether it's content or it's purely creativity in new ways of playing the game, they allow us to keep doing it in some way. Honestly just ruins the game at this point. More often than not when I'm playing, when I die it feels like it's out of my hands. I think if we can sum up the success of the game, it's thanks to our community. Worse then the 2BC spike IMO, Random malaise mechanic dropped on you with no build up oh BTW if you ran survival alot you just got nerfed to, it severely limits playstyles and forces you to take anti malaise options and slows the pace of game massively with the malaise mechanic being paired with higher enemy density. People saying this game is too hard need to realise that you are meant to be weak at the start and you have to play more to buy more upgrades so become more powerful.
